# Convert JSON to data nodes

JSON can be pasted directly from the clipboard to create a data node by using keybindings **cmd/ctrl-v** after copying JSON into the system clipboard.

The Midio object notation is also compatible with JSON, so it is perfectly ok to also paste JSON into the object text editor.
